How to improve the life of your disc brake pads:
Breaking in new disc brake pads extends the life considerably! Keep the brake lever lightly pulled while driving and make sure the pads are touching the brake disc. Ride about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and brake harder at the end to reduce the speed to about 5 kilometers per hour. Then slowly increase the speed while braking lightly. Repeat this 10 to 12 times to make sure your new brake pads are properly bedded in.
